Written originally around the time of 2001 when in the midst of spiritual advisement
The wind is thick
my breath shall cease
among them all
I find no peace
And to the south
I gaze awhile
For only but
a country mile
The tide is in
No mercy I
Can feel the pain
So some would die
A chosen path
would close the door
Only to be
Nothing more
And to the North
The mountains steep
The streams of love
Bow down and weep
There is no tide
Amongst the hills
No more the light
That ends the chills
In darkened valley
Cold and bare
To find myself
a standing there
And to the east
Oh morning sun
To melt away
What cold has done
To freeze a life
And stop the time
For one who sings
an endless rhyme.
The shadows cast
and angles set
that everyone
would soon forget
And in the west
the sun will sink
Before my soul
has lost the link
For you, my love
I wait for long
The time has come
This is our song
