Microsoft Groove is one of the coolest applications that I have ever used.  It allows document collaboration and synchronization with multiple users across the internet.  It’s brilliant, but…

…it’s broken.  For no apparent reason, Groove won’t operate on Vista, and furthermore, when Groove is installed on Vista alongside Macromedia Dreamweaver Studio 8, Dreamweaver loses the ability to properly access Vista’s file browsing feature.  File -> Open works, but as soon as you start browsing in the browse window, Dreamweaver crashes.

The fix?  Revert to Windows XP, or upgrade to the latest version of Dreamweaver.  The fix for Groove?  I haven’t found one yet.  If you know of a solution other than that which I have discovered, or rather, not discovered, please share it with me.  I really need this to work.
